    Hampshire Newbie

I've had a GT Sport, and loved it. Proper 2+2, best looking car around, even after all these years. And the noise is great. Had a few Levantes as a loaners, found them very ordinary, and the handling disappointing. Sold my GT - for practical reasons and now in an Alfa Stelvio Quadrifoglio. It's...

    Back in the GTS Fold

Indeed it does !... but I never tried it... sure I saw a you tube on it though.. essentially it's brake torquing ... And you can do that (apparently) on the Stelvio QF I have now.. Select Race Mode (Sport on the Maser) And floor the Brake then the accelerator - Revs settle at 2700 - foot off the...

You'll also notice that when you've pushed the lever left and the sport button is pressed it gets rather louder ! (all of the time).. Which although is entirely inappropriate its great in the summer with the windows open driving through the centre of town and hearing the exhaust sound bounce off...

    Back in the GTS Fold

Yep - that's how you are supposed to do it !. However, you can use the paddles at any time in Auto mode (D) too.. you'll notice the gears come up on the digital display when you do.. It will stay in "Paddle" mode for 30 secs or so after a change... Which is mighty useful if you just want to...

Quick question on Granturismo exhaust differences

Can only speak for the Sport MCAuto.. Valves open on cold start... (maybe 2 mins depending on temp - about the same time it takes me to close the garage doors) If you press the Sport Button - then valves open at about 3,000 revs If you have the sport button pressed AND the car in Manual mode...

Hi all, old bloke looking for a toy

Grey / Claret a good combo ... had a 4200 like that.. easy to live with... But I think I'd have to draw the line at the dash and steering wheel in the same shade.. Thats just too much (for me anyway)

    Porsche 924S

In reply to various.. Yes ... not my cup of tea either... but each to their own.. Porsche forum probably best ... but that's up to him.. Long experience of you lot, suggests your recommendations actually worth something, and lots of you with hands on experience of eccentric car choices.. And...

    Porsche 924S

I know this is not really a Porsche place .. but lots of you guys have one - or have had one or are generally brilliantly helpful and practical. A pal of mine has just picked up this little thing on a late night internet purchase. Very original car, for not a lot of money, needs a little...

Hi all, old bloke looking for a toy

I think the quick way to identify the facelift is the updated front seat design.. Not on this car - so pre facelift. So far as I was aware the facelift had a little extra HP .. the MC software in the Auto's (stopped them changing up when redlined on the paddles as well as blips on downshifts)...
