Well I’m convinced! Any recommendations of one to get??

I used to take the fuel pump fuse out on my old GS when it had been left for a while or after an oil change - only takes a few moments. Probably unnecessary but never got any start up rattle!!

Obviously for when the other two are fecked!!

Absolutely but as I intend using it on track and it has other bits to do ultimately I figured I would make it presentable in the short term while I save up to do the whole car eventually….

Evening all, Anyone recommended for 'chip' repairs in the South West/South Wales/West Midlands areas? Have three areas on the bonnet I have made worse with tampering!! Would rather repair than having the whole bonnet/front end done if possible.... Thanks in advance!

Having just seen this thread it may be worth checking the part number on a late Gransport's steering rack as it may be the same as the MC's - there was a thread on this some years ago and I posted up the number on mine which seemed to match the later ones - always seemed more than quick enough...

Unfortunatly most of the MD I have worked for still use AN Other company for windcreen replacement including sometimes Autoglass etc so you can still be in unsure of what you get!

To be fair, I thought that was quite a low estimate on an Evo 2 - they have been up around there for a while..... still madness though!

Another shout out for Compressor Express after I saw them mentioned on here - was looking for a replacement for another car which MD wanted £1600 for - managed to source one from CE for £400. Arrived quickly and has been working fine.

I had my GS done a few years ago - think the vids are on his site/you tube still? Nicely polished up and releases a bit more volume but still gives you the non sport quiet option when needed.

Cheers fella! Well she was collected yesterday so the new journey begins but will still lurk on here and will probably return at some point.... Hopefully the new owner will appear on here as I mentioned the site and how useful it can be (and diverting!) Must say, probably the saddest I have been...
