I'm using a CTek system recommended from my mechanic (911 Turbo owner) and its permanently I plumbed in. No need to use the croc clips, just plug/ unplug and good to go. Charles

Mine is inconsistent at best. You have to have your foot firmly on the brake pedal to release the lock, if it's lightly on the sensor does not pick it up and it makes that shockingly loud noise. Not least it's embarrassing to hold everyone up at the lights......
