I’ve had a similar issue ever since I got the car over three years ago. The dealer in NI sent me a replacement Ferrari front sensor but it’s far too sensitive and picks up things over 5 metres away. I was wondering if there’s some kind of calibration that needs doing or whether it’s just not the...
The idea of storing off peak electricity in batteries and using it at peak falls down completely when you factor in the high cost of the batteries and how long they’ll last before needing to be replaced. What’s more, tariffs aren’t stable so any calculation for long term savings need to be taken...
Yes if the flap doesn’t flip up then I suppose that’s just as bad. I suspect though that the release mechanism will be the same on all models and it’s a geared motor driven device rather than a standard solenoid and in my case, it was these gears for had gone tight. If you push ******* the...
Before you spend any time doing what I suggested, make sure the battery has a full charge. I've since noticed that several of the electronic devices need the full voltage to operate correctly.
I'll be looking to replace my 2011 4.7s in the new year if you're still looking. I've owned this car for just over three years and currently it has just under 25k miles and just one previous celeb owner. It's always been kept garaged and everything is in good order.
Well I gave up trying to get the air vents out to reach the screws so it's booked into a trimmer who should have the tools to do it. His nearest match vinyl is close enough as to not be noticeable.
I have exactly the same problem with the cover over the rear air vents but can't work out how to remove it.
Is it screwed from the underside or just clipped on? I've tried giving it a good pull but it seems pretty solid and I don't want to damage it any further.
Ewan, Thanks for the reply, I wasn't sure how the PM function worked and have only just spotted your reply. Amazingly I've never taken a picture but I'll try and get one for you tomorrow but it's deep blue. My message won't fit do you have an email?
Regards
Bill Green
Ewan I have a 2011 4.7 auto in blue + black leather with about 24k on the clock. I've had the car for just over 2 years and there was only one previous owner. Service history and MOT are perfect if your still looking for one.
Just a bit of a follow up on this. Having sorted out the emergency release problem, I took a look at why the electrical side wasn't working.
Pressing the button on the dash did nothing at the business end other than an almost inaudible tick sound. A check with a meter showed there was an...
Wow Thanks for all that even though I've managed it. If you undo those three allen screws you can pull the whole assembly out and see exactly what I mean. Pushing the white plastic plunger in and out from the filler side feels fine but pull the cord and it will stick and bind.
Thanks again...
