ive managed to source a pin out diagram for my car , is the method i used above the best / most effective of testing the harness ??

tested wiring harness , all seems to be in order , did continuity and power probe to test it , running out of ideas . . . . .

another update , using node lights , there is no power getting to injectors 1 thru 3 , 4,5,6 all flash strongly when the car is running but nothing on the first three cylinders , i guess the next step is to test the wiring harness

i replaced the injectors mentioned with 2 tested ones , the originals were blocked , as i said i had the car at this point 6 months ago , they stated fuel is reaching the injectors , its a diesel so common rail or a version of ,

Bit of an update , got the new ECU vin coded , all injectors fully coded still 4 turns no start , the tech is liasing with italian techs to get to the bottom of this but looks likely they will install a full ECU file from the factory as the suspicion is an immobiliser issue , see what occurs

i agree , make sure the in tank pump is putting at least 5bar pressure out , if its low on pressure the car wont start very well , also it wouldnt hurt to whip the crank position sensor out and inspect the crank reluctor ring for condition , if that fails it will leave you stranded

id say thats probably the right assumption to make pal , Matt ( thanks ) kindly advised me yesterday , he explained how the ECUs are set up and that i should take it to maserati , obvs will report back once its been there and hopefully i will be driving it off the transporter
