Hi,
Just tidying the garage and have a few bits and bobs to get shot of. All parts from a 2004 4200.
1. Original x pipe. Bit of scuffing on the underside, but apart from that all good. £25.
2. Wiper mechanism working. Snapped casting around 1 mounting point as shown. Still seems to clamp down...
Hi,
So you just want the stickers for the lower button panel? The windows, heated rear screen etc, not the sat nav buttons? That's fine £12 delivered for those. I'll pm you, you should see an alert by the envelope icon.
Cheers,
Andy.
Hi Tim,
Yes, I think I still have a few sets. Were you after the complete set as shown above?
If you want to PM me your address and I'll send you details for payment.
Cheers,
Andy.
Hi Colin, no problem to send you the stickers. I don't seem to be able to private message you though. Do you have an option to 'start a conversation'? That way we can communicate privately.
Andy.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this forum for giving me the courage to buy my first Maserati.
It may have now just gone to it's new owner but if it wasn't for the knowledge and help available here I would never have bought one in the first place.
I'll check in periodically to keep on...
Glad you got back OK and enjoyed the drive James. Good to meet you and hope you thoroughly enjoy the car.
I'll send the usb stick with the resto photos after Xmas.
Cheers.
From cold 2nd is a little notchy but it only takes 5 mins of running and it's fine. If it's a hot summers day then I don't think there was any notchiness (is that a word?)
The cables were changed before I bought the car so, unfortunately, can't tell you.
Rebuilding the gearbox end linkage was...
Hi Jamie,
Glad you like it, I think it looks pretty good too. I'm not sure the best way to communicate privately without putting an email address here for the world to see!
I don't know how long or how many posts you need before you can PM.
The forum owner @conaero may be able to shed light on it?
Obviously I'm biased, owning a manual, but since I've refurbished the gearbox end linkage with new bushes and bearings (along with recent gearchange cables and oil change) the change is light and slick.
A decent Cayman is a fair bit more to purchase and they do have a 'slightly' fragile engine...
Jamie,
As requested, some photos.
Let me know if it's of interest, if so I'll type up info regarding all the work done, mods, service history etc.
I would like to get around £11500 for it if possible.
Andy.
