I think my Mrs would draw the line at a roasting machine, but fair play to you.I recently bought a Sage Barista Pro and it’s amazing!
I only buy freshly roasted beans from Union beans. Soon enough I plan on doing some actual roasting with an Aillio Bullet.
Extra cream and froth......So you would have us believe ............................whole new meaning from now on , when i ask the missus how would you like your coffee
Revelation is my go to bean! The SBP grinder is very capable but does regularly retain grinds! Thinking about a stand alone Mazzer grinder or Niche Zero for nil retentionI think my Mrs would draw the line at a roasting machine, but fair play to you.
Union beans are very good, i was hooked on their Revelation for a fair time, until i moved to Yoke Cafe beans. My Mignon grinder is easy to clean out, so swapping beans shouldnt be so much of a hassle now.
Iv seen alot of comments about the Niche not being as good for retention as they would have you believe. Just do abit of research before you take the plunge.Revelation is my go to bean! Your KG79 grinder can be easily modded via youtube video to grind fine enough for espresso.Coffee has come a long way not in this league but I do like to grind beans from a local coffee roaster in Wicklow and put them through the Gaggia but that is normally at weekends. Also have Bosch Tassimo machine for those quick caffeine hits between conf calls

Kitchen po rnMy wife (who doesn't drink coffee or tea) generously bought me this machine from Bella Barista for my birthday 3 months before the 1st lockdown so proved to be a lifesaver! For me good coffee is like good wine; once you know what good tastes like it is hard to go back. As I limit myself to 3 double espresso based coffees per day they have to be good and I have detoured many miles off route to find good baristas rather than drink ordinary coffee! My Rocket Milano Appartamento is a home version of their commercial offerings and I believe the Eureka Mignon is the entry point for decent grinders. I generally buy my coffee from Podium Place in Newbury as they roast their own beans but have also found UE Coffee (based in Witney) v good.View attachment 113408
