Has anyone, who is a serious buyer, ever gone to look at, and drive, a 4.7 GTS and said, “nah, don’t like that”, and walked off?

I love it. But don't think I could live with the red interior. Should I drive to Cheshire to see.....?

Yes !!! My old 4.2 Granturismo had red interior and it always felt special. My 4.7 Mc-Shift had black interior and I always wished that it was red. My current Granturismo Sport has tan interior and the reason why I’m not too bothered about it is that it has red stitching (and is Rosso Mondiale). I think red is what makes a Maserati.

There was a 4.2 GTS in BP.....as I went to buy it.....bought a one way train ticket there. Then bought a single back home again.....what a sh1tbox that was.

Wimbledon I think it was.

I wonder how big the pool is for cream and teak 4.7 GTS’s?
Out of the 60 or so in the uk I can’t imagine there being many to go at, especially the teak bit (including all versions of tree that were available). I suppose the panels can be swapped out but there must be less than 10 specced this way from new?

Very rare! I'm not fixated on a GT S - which are mostly black over black, anyway, but a nice example of a GT S or a 4.7 will come up sometimes. Swapping out the carbon trim for wood is quite easy; changing all the leather not so much.
