On the subject of three exhaust settings, what happens with the MC Strad, that has "normal" (i.e. valves closed), "sport" (i.e. valves open) and then "race", which is miraculously even louder, even though the valves are already fully open. How does that work?! Or is it just that the different settings make the valves open lower and lower down the rev range? (Meaning presumably that at say, 5000 rpm, the sound difference between Sport and Race is nothing, as the valves are fully open in both examples?)
