It’ll sell quickly, of that I’m sure. There are lots of GTS’ for sale, but many aren’t well looked after and will need money spending - clutch, disks, timing cover gaskets and so on. You’re buying confidence with this one, as well as a bloody good looking car.

Still preferred the wheels a couple of shades darker, though. :smile: Original colour was the darker grey.

I know its subjective but I think the silver appeals to far more...me included; it looks newer and a contrast between all the dark parts.

I’m a big fan of Grigio Mercury wheels, and did deliberate on this car. I don’t like them at all on Blu Nettuno etc, Silver all the way. On an Alfieri car, it’s personal choice, but I went Silver as I think it’ll probably appeal to more people and makes the car look ‘fresher’. If anyone wanted them changing it’s no problem to go back to grey. Grey wheels on a grey car for me means no contrast anywhere.

Which is exactly why I went for the satin charcoal last time - for some contrast. With hindsight it was a shade too dark. I definitely agree that silver looks fresh. The good thing is that the wheels are now immaculate, so switching to another colour / shade should be pretty easy.

I'd have it

<sigh>

Yes, you would have done actually, Chris. You'd have enjoyed it, too! Bad timing - I wanted to sell fast so that I could push ahead with locking in its replacement.

The world's full of tooth-suckers and tyre-kickers. I seem to remember Damo commenting that he got sick and tired of time-wasters when he was trying to sell his GS privately. Ewan as well, I think, commented on the number of people who looked at his QP before buying something German.

I rather liked the satin charcoal...As it was darker than the car it worked very well indeed. So much car for the money.

I think Grigio suit my Blu Nettuno perfectly.

Obviously I'd not tell him, but I think Geoff / Mark / Dorothy's wheels are the right colour on his blue car.

Better.

Only a pint or two. It's going to Voicey tomorrow to get sorted.

And sorry, it's not going anywhere. Literally! Lol!
