took the car out for a drive over the weekend (been missing the driving) and noticed I'm hundred miles off the 70,000 miles.... minus the major issues I've had she been fantastic and drives great - hopefully more great years to come :)

its sad really that supercars are seen to be pass it when they hit 50,000 and even worse the closer to 100,000 - feel that I've just lost a lot more £££s on resale

my S4 I got when it had about 60,000 miles and was great, wasn't even worried about mileage. so why do a lot of people expect supercars that cost 3 times upwards to be pass it when they hit 50,000. should the cars not be better built therefore last just as long....

what supercar would you get, say 2012 with 20,000 miles and one service history or 2012 with 60,0000 and 6 service history...

I sold my absolute mint 04 S4 Cab (manual) with only 23k and only got 9k for it. My 54 42 is in great condition (not as good as the Audi) just hit 60k and I am sure I would get a **** site more than that for it.............Feels like it's just run in!!
MSH and specialist SH goes better than a car with less miles and a 'iffy' SH

sounds nice, what colour was the S4 and any pic... keep looking at the RS5 but just can not pull myself away from the Mas and would be a step back - need to think R8....

mine has massive MSH and only last few have been specialist but don't seem to count for much compared to mileage...

Meh, when your on your death bed, do you think you will look back and think "I wish I had driven that Maserati less so my kids would get a couple of extra grand"

No, I didn't think so, life's too short!

When i first got my GS i was worried about resale value when i come to sell etc. Especially as i've just hit the 50K miles mark as i was never out of it during the first few months of ownership. However thinking about it, i bought the car to drive it (although its sat snugly wrapped up in the garage for winter at the min), so i've decided i'm not going to worry about re-sale value, as long as its properly looked after and serviced annually and to schedule by Autoshield that all im bothered about.
It still feels as special as the day i bought it, every time i open the drivers door and the F1 pump primes - then when i press the start button, the big grin appears . Yours is that extra bit special Enzo, with the previous supermodel ownership, so im sure when you come to sell it (if you do) you wont have any issues.

Go out and buy a brand new 30k Ford then report back in 5 years while rubbing the tears away when you tell us what they offer you in px

I don't give a feck about mileage, I buy cars to drive so as long as they are serviced and maintained well that's great

Id have to look but something around 44k from memory.

I confess, I don't drive it day to day, I like using it for events. I have plenty of other cars to play with you see.

I reckon I'll be doing 18k a year or so. I'm not thinking about the cost, or drop in value. The car is to be driven and smilies behind the wheel are worth any price.

My 4200 is a 1000 miles off 100k , I will of course drive / push it to the nearest breakers as soon as it hits 100k and accept whatever they offer me with gratitude for taking it off my hands

Mines on 83k. It should be much higher but it's been at Giallo for the last two months. :frusty6::frusty6::frusty6::too_sad::too_sad:

I was doing about 1000 miles a month.

Yes it was fantastic, found these photo's I used for the advert on Pistonheads. Makes me sad that I sold her now but then I wouldn't have the 42!!audi-s4-s4-quattro-S2162589-5[1].jpgaudi-s4-s4-quattro-S2162589-3[1].jpgaudi-s4-s4-quattro-S2162589-7[1].jpgaudi-s4-s4-quattro-S2162589-9[1].jpgaudi-s4-s4-quattro-S2162589-10[1].jpg

looks very nice, do like those interiors - so solid. I had those wheels on my S4 B5 and just filed the arch nicely . friend has the RS4 version and was saying these engine pickups are fantastic from any speed. I almost got the B7 RS4 as a single car, but my head lost, heart won and got the Mas as a weekend car :)

Any news on the diagnostic equipment yet Mark?

Spoke to Matthew an hour ago, they've managed to get a diag kit from someone, however, their original is still in Italy.
Shocking service even for Maserati. That's two months now!

I should get a definitive answer on mine this afternoon.

I couldn't fault the car, it ticked all the boxes and everyone thought I was mad to sell her. As much as I love hot Audi's I think I did the right thing and I think you did too!...........Who was the Super Model owner before you? I can only think of Jodie Kidd, that will certainly lean in your favor when the time comes!
