A friend has been asked to sell a high mileage 4.2 GT Auto.

It has done 92,000 miles and is Grigio Granito with red leather, Bose...

It is on a 08 plate.

I'll know more when I see it tomorrow but would anyone be interested, what do we reckon it is worth?

25k maybe.

I think too many unknowns. Service history? Variators? Bushes? The last two are about £6k between them.... Discs and pads are another £700 + labour. Call it £1k all in

Mileage is higher than mine but I think it's a fair ball park

I will see the car in the metal tomorrow so will report further.

Just to be clear I have no financial interest in this and will get nothing from the sale, if someone ends up with a good deal a pint and/or a curry would be welcome!

22-25k at a dealer with them taking the variator risk if it hasn't been done, I'd think trade money would be 15k at that mileage bearing in mind they offered me 6k for mine against a QP GTS at 23k I think it was

Seen it today. It looks very straight and the interior looks remarkably unworn for the mileage. It needs a few cosmetics, such as wheels refurbished and is due a service but that will all be sorted before sale.

It did half its mileage in the first two years travelling from round here to Elstree several times a week - Adam Woodyatt was the first owner.

I reckon £25k will buy it - if anyone is interested I can put you in touch with the seller.

Adam who?

What is the - £ per 10,000 miles on a high end car?...they used to have a suggested formular in CAR Mag which gave (on average cars) a £1,000 less per every +10k miles above the standard 10k per year.
