Very nice. Good to see values have strengthened slightly & rightly so. Last year that would have likely been up at £2.5k less. Let's keep squeezing these values up.

Don't get not having the sensors added. Must have only been a few hundred quid on a £70k+ car.

Just realised that was an 04 so quite an early example. That would have been up for £20k-£22.5k actually last year.

Got to be a good thing for all current owners though. Not so good for people looking to get back in though. No reason at I can't see that selling for £25k.

When lots are closer or over 30k this will sell you are right.....Sounds like a lovely GS for someone.

Looks toppy to me. Given the age and mileage, and the fact that's it's a private sale with no dealer check over or warranty or after-sake support, I view it as around £4K overpriced. But a lovely car all the same. Great colour. And on a car as small as a GS I couldn't care less about parking sensors (or zenons for that matter).

Age makes no difference with the GS in fact if you can get the 05 lower tax bracket it's more desirable.

These cars value on spec, mileage, history and condition

Me neither really - was alluding to the fact that others in that price range seem to have them, so as you say overpriced compared to the market.

I've changed! I was more cynical as a buyer but more supportive as an owner;). Got to be good for all if a few examples start going up for me. Only takes a few examples & the trend kick starts.

I think it is hard to sell cars like this as a private seller these days, especially for at strong money.

I only bought mine private as the 1st owner had it from new & you could see it had been well looked after. With a verified 11.5k miles it was not an issue. Would I have bought an older higher miler private....probably not. I tend to buy my cars trade in the main with no warranty but cheaper & often needing a few bits doing to add some value.

To pay a few k more from a dealer such as Richard or Nareman makes more sense for most.

I think the colour combo is much in the sellers favour as someone will buy this with little knowledge and buy with heart not head.

Where did you buy your 4200 from Dave?

I strongly disagree with all of the above, apart from it looking like a lovely car in a great colour. £23k is a woeful undervaluation IMO.
