Do you think my 2004 4200 will be worth this in 40 years time?

I think they built a few thousand 4200's where as the cqr in the photo was more likely a few hundred.
Justin Banks does have spectacular cars from time to time but this is up there; stunning...
That was my car . Still waiting to bring her home.I saw one of these getting its final fettling at Spellbound in Farnham when I picked up my Spyder recently. Looked and sounded amazing, surprisingly smooth but very raw at the same time. Lucky owner.
Re modern car values rising, I used to own a TVR Griffith which I loved. I sold it about 6/7 years ago. I suppose it is pretty rare but I never thought they would increase in value. I'd say prices are maybe 50% higher now for decent ones.
For me that's not a good reason to keep a car, I'd never make a dealer, but who knows what might happen in the future.
