Glad all went well Allan, the ferry was quite good going out too, 20 Masers in a row with nothing next to them and reserved seats for breakfast, terrific..!!

Lol it was a Cohiba! Got to do them all in one go but my throat felt it in the morning! You still got that one I gave you or enjoyed it yet?

Yes, I had an 8 flight so had to leave hotel at 6am and they were both in the lobby as I checked out. Quality effort and this was after 2 5am's the previous two nights with me :)

To be fair, at breakfast, he looked like boiled cr4p. He probably felt like it too but soldiered on regardless. Kudos, you crazy ba5tard!!

Update on the Modena Hotel.

I have been arguing with them over a €3000 discrepancy in the bill and have still not paid it as yet.

The hotel have finally agreed that I was right and they were wrong over adding 50% to the bill!!!

Obviously the Italian attitude is to try and have a go, unbelievable!

I will be paying the final bill and thus will have the currency fees in so I can issue anyone who wants the balance off their deposit back. Don't get too excited your looking at less than a tenner.

Any one who does not want it back will be making a very welcome donation to the forum coffers.

I'll update you all next week when I have the final figure.

Its a cultural thing.........as Ive said before, I always check my change bill and invoices when in Italy, thieving is one of their national pastimes I'm afraid.

Plus if arriving in high end sports cars whats a 50% markup to you guys!!!!!!!!
