Aren't GS getting few and far between at the moment...Not much new in the classifieds and what is has been for sale for an age......Looks like two camps as well...cheap and expensive...Nothing in that middle ground.

That's what I found in my months of searching, the middle ground was almost non-existant. The cars with low to average miles were priced around the £30K mark and the others had quite high miles on, but still priced around the £20K mark, that bit inbetween was just not there. I was lucky to find mine..!!

As my 42 had over 61K miles, I had to let her go for a reasonable figure and to get a prompt sale, I actually got back about the same I paid for her and drove another 11k miles, so I am quite pleased. I know I spent money on her, but we all do that and never expect all of it back..!!

That silver one was up for around 23kish when it first went for sale on PH...Now at 17995.....

And the black LE with highish miles (70k odd) is now at £17.5k which looks cheap as chips to me.

Agree Outrun.....Even if it needs a clutch and service still seems cheap..ALso like the red inside.

I find it interesting on most GS's advertised that they give the BHP as 396, yet my book says 400BHP as standard, was the spec improved from the earlier GS, or is this just an error. From memory my 4200 Facelift was 396BHP, or am I wrong..??

As I understand it the fell just short of the 400 bhp ..... but whats 4 bhp between friends......

I know it's odd, it's just that my Maserati book says 400 and yet most seem to say that other cars are 396, I just wondered if they had tinkered with the later engines to get them to a straight 400..??

Not sure Rob...Maybe....I remember that although its 396 they always rounded up to 400..AFter all it does sound better.....Not sure if the MC Victory had more but will check my MC Victory brochure and see what the say.

Andy, it's not, I've never had it before. Lovely to have another one though. The one I sold a short while ago resides in Angemering West Sussex. The black one I sold 3 years ago went to Perth, Western Australia.
