Nikos,
Are you putting LED mood lighting in the engine and under the glass, have seen this done and it looks impressive, you can run them from battery and recharge, or plug in to mains..??
Hospital was a scan to see if my bits were still there..!!
Cheers

Nicolas, you will get grit between the tape and the parquet, and it *will* scratch, I'm afraid. Equally you'd get grit under the wheels, but with something that heavy it's a no win scenario I suspect.

Build in an air curtain with a mini compressor, switch on and move around with one finger, no scratching..!!

right..the tape is not aimed to cover some kms, it's just there for small moves. Honestly with the wheels on it looked like cr@p..
As for the leds..i have thought about it. Robert, have you got any pic to get some ideas?

I might have one of an exhaust manifold done with LED's, but will hunt around to see what I can find..!! They don't have to be bright, just low mood lighting, that can even change colour if you wish..??

Nikos,
Not a hoover, a HOVER, like the Hovercraft, so the engine will float on an air cushion..!! You could have a push to start button, or even an illuminated clock binnacle from a 4200 so you can see the dials and no CEL light..??

Good morning all........busy morning this morning...Alex has starts playing for Chepstow Town football club under 6's and Dan has started golf lessons and they are both at the same time.........and I can not stand either sport.....I can see weekends never being the same again. But then its Dad time this afternoon as off to some more guitar shops to find the guitar I am looking for......Oh and a friend contacted me last night to offer me a free ticket for BTCC at Rockingham next weekend...result...she is a marshal.

Morning all. Sounds like a blend of good and bad, Andy :) Best of luck with the balance.

Call in the middle of the night that our system was dead, so a bit blear eyed. Off for a vineyard tour and lunch today. No doubt will be more bleary eyed later :)

Morning Andy, C et al.

Tired this morning after 8 hours of driving in the mountains yesterday, going to take it much easier today.

Hope you find the right guitar Andy, good luck!

I've been spending my Sundays and more besides on the touchline at Rugby for almost 20 years Andy, one of the joys of having kids. Embrace it matey it will be gone too soon! Good luck with being in two places at once though!

14 sites to inspect this morning then off to a posh BBQ/party in Kent so won't get to work on the car today and I absolutely MUST finish my accounts tomorrow so I'm going to give myself a couple of days in the week to get it sorted. Looks like my Alex and I will both be heading off to Budapest for a job on Friday to Sunday now!

So much to do; got to be 100% caught up before Italy....

Morning all especially the taxi parents !
I sometimes put my bike in the car and went for a ride while they trained.
Really disappointed with myself for not being fit for enough for the Manchester 100 tomorrow, I really think at 54 it would see me off!
Driving a Volvo hire car today after the insurance company sent us a mini and then a scirocco, what part of we need 4 doors and 5 seats didn't they understand ?
Have a good day and those that are in the sunshine...

Morning guys and gals. Went for running in the morning, the first time in three months. Let's get in sporty mood again.

At the office at the moment, i bought some safety equipment for my business, like reflective vest, safety helmets etc for my employees. They're our for printing the logo of my company. Good stuff this..

Have a good one all, and Andy...good luck with your guitar hunting!

PS: Messing around with the idea of putting some lights on the engine-table, as Rob and Chris suggested. Let's see how it will work..

Running eh?

The Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc has been on this weekend. We've been watching some of the finishers arriving back in Chamonix, after 168km of running a circuit round Mont Blanc. Amazing feat of endurance...

The top three women were being presented on the stage - they had completed the circuit in a little over 16 hours. I couldn't run that on the flat in that time!

Oh yes - I was impressed by how strong some of the runners were as they ran back to the town square. They didn't appear to be in the first flush of youth either. The weather late yesterday was appalling too - torrential rain for a couple of hours, that must have been soul destroying.

Chapeau! As they say here, to all who took part.
