Morning all, nice sunny day down here in Darset for a change. Work for me today consists of pulling cable through our old control tower for a new system. Had fun yesterday bridging an old lift shaft. God know what or who is still in there! Later today will see me at Poole Quay for the Italian stallions thing.

Morning all, 4 days off, not doing what we planned I don't think as it's new boiler time .
@ blondie, I thought the same a while back, just go on YouTube and search "how to clay your car"

Enjoy your day

Morning all.

ChrisB - Doris is looking fantastic, albeit 180deg confused. What sort of clay did you use?

Good day yesterday, especially for N minor who beat London Metropolitan at cricket. N major and I drifted over to Westfield where we made the (perhaps obvious) discovery that the place is a soulless ****-hole, a mecca to gratuitous consumerism. But it does have quite a nice Greek restaurant. We also had a quick run in a BMW i3 and were hugely impressed. Not persuaded it's worth the fat end of £29k, but what a great car. Caught up with some relatives, watched the end of the cricket and were home by 9.15.

Chelmsford tonight to watch Essex beat Suffolk in the T20 and an early start tomorrow for Silverstone. Getting back to work will be tough!

Have a good day, all.

Good Morning All,
Weather lovely again (I could get used to this), sun, blue skies, gentle warm breeaze, showing only 21 degC at the moment, but feels warmer in the sun and it's getting warmer..!!
Blondie, Clay Bar is used for your paintwork to strip off tiny contaminants before waxing. An easy way to tell if you need to clay bar your car, is to get a big piece of cling film, keep it in a flat state not scrunched up and slide it across the paintwork. If the cling film keeps grabbing on the paintwork, then you have contaminants in the paint surface and a clay bar will get them off.
Drew, Don't be bending over doing cleaning and polishing mate, we don't want you in a heap on the floor with your head spinning, get Susie to do it..!!
Frank, Glad the Lancia is finally getting some TLC from those who will get on with it, we all wait with baited breath to see the finished result..!!
A bit more polishing today front and rear, rest is done..!! A few chips on the front but they are going to have to wait unfortunately..!!
Have a good one whatever you are doing and if you can....go faster then everybody else..!!:ok:
Cheers
R

Robert, Susie is outraged that you seem to be suggesting she's a scrubber... :D

She has mentioned 'smacked bottoms', and I don't believe it's going to be mine....

Good Morning, well Afternoon really. This morning I have been rushing around in 116 Giuliettas. Dropped off th silver one for an MOT and collected the black one which now has working brakes. The Silver one is standard and drives just like an old Giulietta should, eager but soft, rolls and pitches but handles really well when you get used to it. The black one is modified, corners dead flat, has loads of power and stops on a sixpence, great for chasing and passing much more modern traffic across country. I love them both, so hopefully the silver one won't sell :)
