I think they look brilliant but they are my era. Track it, i agree but i hate seeing good examples bought and then stripped, waste of a good car.

E46 is a peach, borrowed one when our 320ci went in for a service, christ almighty it was sensational, the speed and the noise.

Well you will be glad to know that Phils is not a peach as far as condition is concerned Adam.....So tracking it was perfect....

At Brunty had 140 out of mine down the back straight and it shocked me how my little M3 handled itself against some other cars...One of the passengers posted this vid..Lap was spoilt by some TVR's at the beginning and tried to hang back so the paying customer could see how she handled around the corners.... but on the back staright she handled herself very well...

They are not cheap...A true classic......as Grinzzz has said they seem to start at £40k but go far north for brilliant ones...

Yes most will go for the flappy I would say and ou are right its a much better box than the E46 M3 SMG.......I would have the flappy.......But its great that BMW are offereing a manual as most don't do that now.

Dem, V8's are great value now 20k will get one and high miles cars for under that......E60 M5's and M6 are also brilliant value as well...A good M6 for 16k....This car was 80/90k new.....So much performance for so little money.

I know, a V10 for 15k?! 6 years old?? Not bad......
I know what you mean about the manual and if your a real driver you would like it but i drove both manual and DCT on the V8 and DCT was better, wat better than the old SMG and SMG2....

Yes Dem, DCT is a great gear box....It's real shame that Maserati's MC box isn't duel clutch as the single plate is a bit old now and the news one are light years ahead........

The new F10 M5 is quick, very quick and will pull a few car lengths on the V10 E6x. The finance deals on the F10 at the moment are crazy direct from BMW e.g 6K deposit and 23 months of £500 incl. VAT.

The CC box was bad enough but I agree the MC box is looking old especially with the DCT and PDK systems which BMW and Porsche offer.
