What have you done to your Maserati today?

Not today but this week: new rear disks, pads, brake shoes, replaced brake fluid, replaced all nipples, new drop links (left and right) new header tank for coolant (old one had split) and replaced a faulty parking sensor. Loom for sensors have corroded so that will need to be replaced as well.

Was always less than impressed with the braking feel (spongy and long pedal travel) - now it's perfect!

Had a new Vredstein Quatrac pro installed. Then cleared all her faults and managed to re-connect my phone. I swear that AP-200 is worth its weight in gold.

Bloody horrid drive to Leeds though

Not much today, but my neighbour just bought a Lambo Urus for the wife and an 812 Superfast for himself. I’m popping over tomorrow for a spin.

Weather permitting, mine will get a winter clean tomorrow. Soggy leaves removed from all nooks and crannies, grot removed from wheel arches, Boot checked. interior vacuum cleaned, floor mats scrubbed (they're transparent plastic. Try some, they look good over beige carpets.) Windscreen dusted so I can see through it driving towards the low winter sun, window guides lubricated to give the window regulators a bit of a break, check of the leather, wash and maybe even a wax outside. You get the idea.
Well, we'll see what happens when these most excellent objectives collide with everyday life. :)

I hoovered the Frankenspyder out, washed off the worst of Ryan’s Run, and she’s now ready for Rob’s send off. I’m looking forward to seeing if she can do another 250/300 miles without throwing a tantrum. I’ll be taking a warm coat just in case!

Well today, I‘ve put just over half a tank of 99+ through the Frankenspyder, and she didn’t miss a beat. I did have a slight starting issue when leaving the pub for home but I solved it with a bit of delicate footwork, and she was as right as rain. That was fortunate as it p!ssed down all the way home. Under the circumstances, a good day was had by all.
